LAURA RASPANTI

Laura Raspanti is a conservator and restorer graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples. She specializes in the restoration of stone, mosaics, wall paintings, and stucco in Italy and abroad especially in the mediterranean countries.

Amongst the others she worked at the restoration of the mosaics at the Baptistery of San Giovanni in Florence and leading a team of mosaicists for the decorative cladding of the Al-Fadhel Mosque minaret in Bahrain. In Ancient Corinth, Greece, she spent four years collaborating on the restoration and reconstruction of a unique collection of archaeological frescoes, preparing them for the museum display.

As educator as well, she has trained international students in Greece and served as an instructor of mosaic conservation for the team of the Directorate of Antiquities in Lebanon.

Currently Laura makes her background and expertise available to new conservation projects as a freelancer, maintaining her commitment to the preservation of cultural heritage.
