Accreditation
Thank you for your interest in our conservation school! We provide exceptional education and a rewarding learning experience for all our students. While we are not currently affiliated with a university or accreditation organization, we are committed to maintaining high standards of quality and ensuring that our programs meet the requirements of the field.
Current Accreditation Status:
Our conservation school is in the process of seeking accreditation. We understand the importance of accreditation in validating the academic success of our students, and we are actively working towards establishing partnerships with universities and accreditation organizations.
Program Quality and Recognition:
The Art Restoration and Conservation International Field School (ARCIFS) is delighted to announce its growing network of esteemed academic partnerships. Following our successful affiliation with the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples in 2024, we are now thrilled to announce a new academic agreement with the prestigious and internationally renowned Accademia di Brera in Milan.
Our partnership with the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples, founded in 1752 by King Charles VII of Naples, has provided students with access to scholarships for ARCIFS' renowned Amelia International Conservation Studies programs. This collaboration has enriched our academic offerings and solidified our position as a global leader in conservation education.
Our new agreement with the Accademia di Brera, established in 1776 by Empress Maria Theresa of Austria, further expands our reach and commitment to excellence in conservation education. Since its founding, the Brera Academy has been a cornerstone for the study and instruction of Art History, seamlessly integrating science, literature, and the arts.
We are proud to offer two scholarships to students of the Accademia di Brera participating in the course “Architectural Painted Surfaces: Conservation & Restoration of Fresco and Secco Wall Paintings.”
These partnerships highlight our dedication to achieving the highest standards in education and serving as a bridge between cultures, united by the shared goal of preserving and promoting cultural heritage. We take great pride in collaborating with institutions that share our passion for art conservation and restoration, and we look forward to a fruitful and inspiring exchange with both the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples and the Accademia di Brera.
At ARCIFS, we aim not only to provide outstanding teaching but also to foster a dynamic learning environment that brings together students, scholars, and professionals from around the world.
Our growing network of prestigious partnerships is a testament to our commitment to excellence and our passion for preserving the world's cultural heritage.
Graduation Certificates:
Upon successful completion of our conservation programs, students will receive a graduation certificate from our conservation school. This certificate acknowledges their commitment, achievements, and the skills they have acquired during their time with us. We believe that these certificates demonstrate the expertise and competence our students possess and can enhance their professional prospects.
Credit Transfer and Independent Accreditation Options:
Although we are not directly affiliated with a university, some students may be eligible for credit transfer or alternative accreditation options through independent accreditation organizations or professional associations in the field of conservation. We encourage students to independently explore these opportunities and seek the necessary guidance to initiate these processes.
Student Testimonials:
Hear what some of our previous students have to say about their experience under the guidance of our faculty members. Many of them have successfully pursued credit transfers or obtained independent accreditation, using the knowledge and skills they acquired here to advance their careers.
