Eleonora Scafuri, as a professional Conservator specializing in Cultural Heritage Preservation, she hold a Master's Degree in Conservation and Restoration from Istituto Centrale per il Restauro, Rome (2023), and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Università degli studi di Parma (2018).
Her expertise encompasses the conservation of ceramic, glass, metals, and organic materials, with particular focus on underwater archaeology conservation and advanced analytical techniques. Throughout her career, she has developed innovative methods for chloride extraction from marine artifacts and pioneered statistical approaches for analyzing aged resins using infrared spectroscopy.
Currently working as a freelance Conservator with prestigious institutions across Italy, she has successfully restored significant historical artifacts including Bronze Age metalwork and Roman archaeological finds.
