Cristina Catanzaro is an Art Conservator and Cultural Heritage Restorer. She obtained her diploma in Conservation and Restoration from the Istituto Centrale per il Restauro in Rome in 2007 and later completed a two-year second-level Master’s degree at the University of Roma Tre, focused on the evaluation and protection of cultural heritage.

Registered in the official list of restorers of the Italian Ministry of Culture, she has developed extensive experience in the conservation of paintings on canvas and panel, wooden artefacts, decorated surfaces, and mixed materials.
From 2008 to 2020 she ran her own restoration company, and between 2019 and 2023 she worked at the Centro Conservazione e Restauro “La Venaria Reale” as coordinator of the paintings laboratory.
She currently works as an independent conservator, while also teaching and collaborating with major Italian cultural institutions.
